In 1992, we published the first issue of the Book of Mormon Archaeological Digest. In 1996, upon returning from serving a mission in Spain, Dr. Allen again began publishing the Digest in a newspaper format which we continued on a quarterly basis for several years. Beginning in 2008 we began sending out articles on the history, language, culture and geography of the Book of Mormon via the internet, a process that is currently used for the dissemination of material on new discoveries as well as commentary on the archaeology of the Book of Mormon.
The new second edition of Exploring the Lands of the Book of Mormon co-authored by Blake and Joseph Allen and edited by Dr. Ted D. Stoddard, was published in 2008 and is now being sold by Book of Mormon Tours. It was the information in The Book of Mormon Archaeology Digests that aided greatly in the update of the new second edition of Exploring the Lands of the Book of Mormon.
