TERMS AND
CONDITIONS
PAYMENT: Please
see individual tours or cruises for current prices. All prices listed in the literature are per
person and are based on double occupancy and do not include airfare unless
otherwise specified. The single occupancy price is an additional $65 per night
for tours and varies for cruises. Please
contact us for current rates. All prices
are subject to change.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A $500 per person,
non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking for a tour or cruise. Higher deposits may be required on some tours
and cruises. A portion of the deposit
may be transferred to a future tour or another individual if travel occurs
within 12 months of the original departure date. It is the responsibility of the tour
participant to a find a replacement traveler.
The total cost of a tour must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to
the tour departure date and 90 days prior to the departure of a cruise. Applications received within these times must
include full payment. Please pay deposit to Book of Mormon Tours,
PO Box 938, Richfield, UT 84701.
AIRFARE: Unless otherwise stated, airfare is not included in
the price of the tour or cruise. You may
either arrange for your own round trip airfare or contact your local travel
agent. You may use frequent flyer miles and will need to work directly with the
airlines. Please let us know your flight
schedule so that we can coordinate your flight times with the rest of the
group. All internal airfare will be
arranged for by Book of Mormon Tours.
CANCELLATIONS: The deposit for
a tour or cruise is non-refundable. A portion of the amount paid may be applied
to a future tour if taken within 12 months of the original tour date. To cancel, you must notify us in writing. Additional
charges may be assessed which may include, but are not limited to, airline
charges, hotel and transportation charges, cruise line charges and other fees
charged by wholesalers. There is no
refund for cancellations received less than 60 days prior to departure of the
tour. We recommend the purchase of trip-cancellation insurance. There will be
no refunds for services not used or sites not visited by the individual once
the tour or cruise begins.
TRIP
CANCELLATION/INTERRUPTION INSURANCE:
Trip cancellation/interruption insurance is not part of the tour package,
however it is highly recommended. Please visit our website at www.BookOfMormonTours.com
and click the link for Allianz Global insurance at the bottom of the home page
to purchase this insurance. Cancellation insurance for a cruise must be paid
for at the time of the initial deposit through the cruise line. Contact Book of
Mormon Tours for details. Book of Mormon Tours is not responsible for the
return of any funds, except as expressly allowed herein, whether or not such
funds are covered by the trip cancellation/interruption insurance policy.
PERSONAL ACTIVITIES and
EXPENSES: You are responsible for all
expenses incurred for personal activities (unless expressly specified in the
itinerary). You are also responsible for any and all passport fees, vaccinations
and health tests, airport departure taxes, border taxes, laundry, meals (except
for meals specified in itinerary), beverages, room service, telephone calls,
excess baggage fees, and any other expenses not specifically covered in the
price of the tour or cruise.
PASSPORT NEEDED: A current, valid passport is required for travel leaving
and returning to the United
States.
It is recommended that your passport not expire within the six months
following the return of your tour or cruise.
No visas are required unless specified in the information for the
specific tour or cruise. However, a
tourist card is issued upon arrival at some of the countries visited. This
tourist card must be surrendered upon departure from the issuing country. If
you lose or misplace the tourist card, you will be responsible for the amount
charged by the issuing country.
LUGGAGE REQUIREMENTS: Each person is allowed two pieces of checked baggage
and two carry-on bags for bus travel. Any excess baggage will be charged at the
rate of $2.00 per bag per day by Book of Mormon Tours. This charge is in
addition to any fee charged by the airlines or cruise lines. Some internal flights have weight
restrictions of 50 pounds per person for checked luggage. Excess baggage weight
fees can be quite expensive.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER: Book of Mormon Tours, its employees, and its agents
shall not be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injuries or damages,
inconveniences, illnesses, death, irregularities or incidental damages incurred
or sustained during a tour or cruise, including, but not limited to, events
such as strikes, revolts, wars, riots, insurrections, criminal acts, natural
disasters, closures of airports or hotels, acts of governments or other
authorities, theft, pilferage, epidemic, pandemic, quarantines, customs
regulations or improper passports, visas or other documents, etc. You agree to voluntarily participate in the
tour or cruse at your own risk. Without limitation or waiver by Book of Mormon
Tours, you expressly agree to hold Book of Mormon Tours, its employees, and its
agents harmless from any of the above mentioned incidents.
TOUR PRICING AND
ITINERARIES: Book of Mormon Tours
reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary when deemed necessary
and/or to cancel the tour or cruise in the event of insufficient participants
for the particular tour or cruise or for any other reason it deems necessary
and appropriate. Book of Mormon Tours also reserves the right to alter the
prices, dates of the tour or cruise or the itineraries at its discretion. Some
of the reasons may include, but are not limited to, the unavailability of air
flights, hotel spaces, cruise space, increase of prices by vendors or any other
reason deemed necessary and appropriate by Book of Mormon Tours.
